A former client has hired an unskilled designer (see my previous posts on why you should not hire just an artist for a job that is the epicenter of entering your cybersecurity universe) who doesn't know how to develop a website and their site is under cyber attack.

What does this mean for everyone?

Flippin' travesty, y'all.

Because this sweet precious bless their heart doesn't know how to change an Admin from the former to the current, all data is at risk. The data of EVERYONE involved. And I mean everyone.

Y'all, do yourselves and everyone around you a favor and don't hire someone just because they ARE CHEAP and you found them on FIVERR.

You want to clean up the mess when your site is hijacked, ransomed, hacked, stolen?

When your data and all the data of your clients is sold to the dark web?

You and your company are taken to COURT for negligence?

When your organization hits the news because of your DATA BREACH?

Come on! There's a time to save money and there's a time to consider that everything you put online - your website, your email, your calendars, your treasury reports, your cloud documents. ALL OF IT is precious and it can tear you down in a heartbeat.

Ignorance is no longer a viable excuse.
