Basically, be polite.  Act like you're in a nice restaurant with people you don't want to offend.  Be courteous, "Pass the salt," offer your help, ask your questions and overall, just play nice. :)

People, you have come to my home (It's Tashna's board, but I've been here so long that I'm a fixture.) and have decided to join.  Would you go to a party where you weren't known and just start talking or would you introduce yourselves to the others already there?  Would you go to a retreat or a reunion (powwow) and try to tell others what they are doing wrong or try to sell them your books on powwows and past lives?  I hope you answer "no".  If you choose to become a part of the board, many things are here for you, but it is not a public board to pontificate, prostelitize, peddle, or plunder.
