I was told that te wee wass ( forgive the spelling) was a Lakota female name.  It was given to me when I was young.  I have been trying to find out if this is a real name or something made up. I grew up in the Colorado Rockies.  My foster parents said it was part of my background, but I am not sure.

Okay, I might just be not seeing / hearing what you're trying to say... (sometimes, the simplest things escape me). BUT, as of this moment, the word you have phonetically written out for us sounds nothing like any Lakota word I know.

I wish I could be more help.  Sad
